I sit alone another night...
Missing love...
My sun's light.
Dispelling memories that last forever.
Though they bring a smile as I remember.
You encouraged my mind to explore...
That which I never knew before!!!
So I think of life...
Love...
What does it mean?
And how does that translate to that which is unseen?
An unpaved path lies ahead of me.
But am I wandering along aimlessly?
I'm trying to catch my breath.
So I do what I feel...
Not what I know.
I assume a chance to learn...
But moreso to grow!!!
The tears that you cried leave a trace on my face.
So i substitute an email for your warm embrace.
But then the night goes on to form a new day.
So I face the world alone...
Much to my dismay!!!
Like an actor on stage that's forgotten his lines...
He has no alternative but to improvise!!!
My smile void of true emotion...
Once mirrored a heart full of love's devotion.
For the one that gave me wings and taught me to fly.
Always holding my hand and encouraging me to try.
I take responsibility...
Even when it's not there.
And deal with the loss even though it's unfair!!!
Then it hits me...
Even JESUS was stoned...
Before recieving the throne...
So with that...
I accept...
Being alone.
